Introduction: The Retrofit scheme, funded through Malta’s Recovery and Resilience Plan, aims to support private sector entities, including enterprises and compliant voluntary organizations, in renovating commercial buildings to enhance energy efficiency. Eligible projects must achieve at least a 30% reduction in Primary Energy Demand (PED) by implementing measures that decrease energy consumption for heating, cooling, ventilation, hot water, and lighting.

Scheme: CAP SP I75.1- Setting Up of Young Farmers
Introduction:
The intervention is designed to support young farmers by addressing significant barriers they face in starting or expanding agricultural ventures. It provides targeted financial support through a lump-sum payment of up to €100,000 per young farmer. This financial
support enables eligible young farmers to either establish new agricultural businesses or take over existing holdings, thereby helping them overcome initial challenges. The goal of this intervention is to create a more attractive, innovative, and efficient agricultural sector by making it easier for young farmers to enter and succeed in the agricultural sector.
Intended Beneficiaries: Support under this intervention is available to:
- A young farmer which for this intervention is someone that is under 41 years of age at the time of application.
- Individuals that have yet to set up as head of holding.
- Individuals that have already set up as head of holding in the last 4 year.
